You can default your torrents to open in Vuze. I have been using it for a long time and I get some pretty complete and clean episodes of all my torrents.

Knowing the ESB is the best of the 6, I really enjoyed Building Empire. Lots of cool production/behind the scenes shots you don't see in the 1981 SPFX special.

If you can't find it, check my list for your needs

so I downloaded VUZE (works way better than when it was azureus) and finally found building empire, so I'm snagging that and the phantom edit.

looking forward a great deal to viewing.

Cool! Yeah, Phantom Edit is good on it's own - you'll be surprised at how little neds to be done to make it watchable. His commentary is also great, as it addrsses the editing process, but more importantly the visual storytelling process and the nature of what made the past Star Wars movies not just enjoyable, but magical.
I'm looking forward to your views on them!

just went and read the list of what Adywan is doing for The Empire Strikes Back Revisited. it's pretty much everything I would do.
it may seem like not a big deal to some but restoring the lines "bring my shuttle" and "you're lucky you don't taste very good" are at the top of my list. and he's on it. very excited indeed. Star Wars Revisited may very well be my definitive version of that film.

I couldn't agree more Clint. The way the shuttle line is delivered now is redundant and pretty much overkill "Alert my Star Destroyer of my arrivle." is unecessary. "Bring my shuttle" is more appropriate since Vader is super pissed by that point. I eagely await to see what Adywan does.

So...what I am hearing is.....

you guys like the OOT dialog and scripting,

but you want the SE graphics,

BUT not too much CG tampering

AND not too much audio enhancement

Has anyone watched the OOT, no enhancements? Ed said on one of the past shows he cannot throw that vid in without paying attenion to it. He also said that this adewayn productions was his "new" regular viewing pleasure of SW. Good for you Ed!!! BUT

I disagree. I still will stand by the original art. Oh, yeah the eye candy is nice, but for me it cannot take the place of the OOT. Similar to having a quality pizza at two different Chicago pizza places, there will always be "THE ONE" you go back to.

Fan edits and enhancements are like the different sausages those restaurants would use. Nice for the moment and I enjoy the flavor, but I cannot replace my love for the original.

I too am looking forward to Adywan's ESB. My love for the OOT is basically nostalgic. When I watch the movie, I flip back to the day I first saw the film. I remember the theater, the time I saw the film and who I saw it with...... ME!!!

The enhancements are ok for the "What if's..." but I do not want to start thinking like George Lucas about what I would do with a film. Kinda like if homeschool Wise said;...."HMMM, I don't know if the Klaatu verada nikto line is really going to work. Maybe we should change it"

My brother and I used to rewind Vader saying 'bring my shuttle' as kids. We loved it... it's almost as if Vader is just about to loose his cool!

I actually like all of the versions of the films but ultimately I want the OG versions on BluRay with all of it warts and wrinkles. W&Ws are completely subjective. StarWars will always be Star Wars not ANH, Empire is Empire, and JEDI is Jedi...if that makes sense. Funny thing is I can still spot every change they made to the films back in 1997, they still stick out to me like a sore thumb. Also Bob hook a brother up with some Adywan dvds man, I will pay for your time sir.

Makes total sense to me. Spring Break next week so there will be time for production. I need to make some VOR promos too.
