On the news today they talked about MJ sales eclipsing the Elvis estate. MJ could beat Elvis out for the top grossing dead guy in entertainment this year, I figure SOMEONE will create a 'dead kings' memorial collectors plate I will see on late night informercials, Can you picture it? MJ, Elvis and Sinatra on a limited edition collectors plate? Certificate of authenticy included.

Holy Fucking Shit! There were some places I did not expect to see Michael Jackson "news".
Great, he did the moon walk almost 30 years ago. I was impressed when I was 8. Now, not so much!

So bitter... was it because he chose Alonso Ribera over to to be his Pepsi Successor? Don't you realize he would have used you like used A.R... He was trying to get to Ricky Schroeder anyway. I like to think it was to get close to Erin Gray... Well, that would have been my plan anyway.

What were you saying?

Very few people have been to the moon. We should honor this American hero along with other astronauts, like Louie Armstrong and Lance Bass.

Sorry, I don't honor child molesters. It's just the way I'm wired.

They're out to get you, there's demons closing in on every side
They will possess you unless you change that number on your dial
Now is the time for you and I to cuddle close together, yeah
All through the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen
I'll make you see

Giant out-of-court settlements does not = innocent.

I respect the hell out of what he was, and who he had been. Aside from that, he was a heavily damaged freak show, and part of me feels pity, and the other part just feels... oogie.

Its about honoring his work. Not who he was. I mean come on. Go back in time, Ben Franklin was a freak and got his mad fuck on. Tommy J, he liked the blacks. Socrates (sounded SEW CRATES. ) probably fucked a ton of 10 year olds, but the dud is like crazy philosophers stone turnning gold into lead or some such shit. Not to mention all the Greeks. Feta.... Gross. Point is crazy people make the best shit. And you have to like the person who made it to enjoy it.

Did you know the person who invented air conditioning was a serial rapist?

Yo man, he made Thrilla B.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyJbIOZjS8

Look at that. How can you blame the dude who was creative enough to make that shit to not be some kind of fucking deviant. Yes the dude was a spectacle. He was weird on purpose. We molded a broken human into what Micheal was.

With all greatness there is a bit of madness. Hate the sin. Love the sinner. He made some beautiful shit.

Yay Tim!! That has been my position for years. Celebrate the art. Art endures. MJ was a genius and his music and sound will endure like Sinatra, Satchmo, Miles Jim Morrison and dozens of others.

Wow the Wildspace is quite wild!!! So Tim, we are are in aggreement with MJ, but do you think most of the world viewed Elvis as a womanizing junkie that had a few great albums (that were produced for him and in some cases overdubbed to hide his inability to perform) and NEVER had a decent movie or do they respect the legendary music? Does the world care that Sinatra's career ended immediately with the birth of television then rock and roll only for him to collaborate with a kid named Quincy Jones and have his career resurected with such tunes as Chicago, New York New York, Fly Me To The Moon?

The answers are always obvious. Art will supercede us all. All the opinions, disgraces, politics and charlatans do not endure. Look at the lives of Mozart, Liszt, Glazanov Tchaikovski and Bernstein just to name a few.
