Most of you will be filtering in from other forums, so, for the most part, I'm going to assume most of you aren't totally sociopathic.
1. Be cool. Heated discussions will happen from time to time. Be prepared to become the bigger man at times and let the wookiee win.
SW fans are tenacious.
If a dude digs ewoks, let him steep in the yub yub without a ton of hassle.
2. Repeated derogatory remarks will be frowned upon. We all have our opinions, and while we're totally entitled to them, those opinions shouldn't overstep another's enjoyment. An occasional smart assed jab is one thing. Gunning for another forum dick repeatedly isn't cool, and will be dealt with on a case by case scenario.
3. Playing a character for laughs isn't a problem. Multiple IDs on this board aren't discouraged.
Cross the line into troll territory, and you'll be called on the spot.
Being negative to be negative isn't encouraged.
Utilizing proper critique methods of saying something is lame, and then explaining why said subject is lame is way preferable over the typical shit-and-run forum thread skirmish techniques.
4. No one is beyond redemption.
Say the impossible happens, and your ass gets booted.
This will be the culmination of several attempts to raise your attention to the level of douche you'd most likely displayed.
You may be asked to bring a side dish for the impending crow you may eat, but after dinner, everything should be cool.
You may need to apologize, we may need to apologize....either way, just know that the powers that be aren't vengeful gods, and the appropriate amount of sensual dancing at our whim goes a long way.
Disclaimer: I'm only in this thing so long as it's fun.
Moderating this forum is not my job, and certainly nowhere near the top of my "fun" list of shit to do. Become a thorn in any other poster's side and it hurts me as well.
Be open to alternative avenues when addressing your feelings.
I mean, shit....this is about Star Wars!
Save the drama for your mama, but if there is an issue which needs to be addressed, please bring it up openly, where we can all see what we can do to fix it.
5. MOST IMPORTANT RULE EVER. Have fun!
