Ed, did you get a sense for how popular this movie was in Japan? Is the country that gave us Gigantor, Gundam and Macross into Steppin' Fetchbots? I figured your the man to ask since you now speak for the entire nation of Nippon.

Well, it`s like the states. It was popular with the kids and most other people. I don`t know if anyone finds it as base and shitty as I do. I`ll as Nippon what she thinks.

I like some ideas in the movie but there is no way I can defend this shit-fest-mess of a movie. I guess I just like Transformers.

Robots with a side of teen angst is ok. The opposite is the groundwork for a Bay movie. Oh, both must be second to FX. Story comes last. No one`s paying attention anyway.
