We're mad as hell, and we're going to tell you all about it! VOR addresses the bigger picture of the departure of Karen Traviss from writing Star Wars, and why more artists and fans should be upset.

Holy shit, I'm sorry (but glad you updated us) about the girl situation. Ain't that about a bitch. I know there was tons of potential, but geography matters, and unless you were planning on becoming a retrofit NY boy, there could be some issues. I'm glad you parted on good terms, and I'm sorry the planets didn't align on this one.

Btw, and I'm sure this doesn't help, but my wife predicts that geography will work itself out. I dunno, I support where you're coming from. I get the feeling that that girl will be born and die in Brooklyn, and I can appreciate the issues with that. But I'm a good Texas boy, so take that for what it's worth.

Great show, and you just have to listen to pretty much any show to hear the "genius" of funny Mike.

Love the commentary on Karen Traviss. I'm totally on board with where you're coming from. You boys had some details as far as what it was that conflicted with "continuity". I totally agree that it's a damn shame that she got chased out. Best damn SW writer running from torches and pitchforks.

I'm sure I've got more for you, but I'm spent. Keep up the goodness.

I alsmot did, but that was too predictable, even for cheesy old me. Almost chose Respect Yourself by the Staple Singers, but that wasn`t approproate.

great show fellas. I'll just leave it at that for now, I believe I'll call to share my further thoughts.

I didn't know there was a phantom edit of clones. definitely going to have to check that out even though I'm having trouble finding it with a decent amount of seeds.

I stumbled on it when I was trying to find a copy of Ep I edit for my friend. It was bundled as 2 DVDs in one zip, so it took a long time to come down. It's so much better than the regular AVI, though. He really put a lot of great work into it.

Look forward to your message!

Is it shitty to ask for a copy? Also another great show in the can, I have feedback and wrote down some notes but I left them on a post-it at work. And since I sound like an even bigger douche on voicemail I'll reserve my feedback for the ol' email.

What? No pity parties here - I got 3 hours of your voice on the Ed Show, and you sound just fine.

Actually, if you all everybody are too nervous to call for fear of sounding dumb, I recommend having an outline of what you want to say. If you read a script, all the listeners and hosts will know it. If you use an outline (not while driving, you crazies) then you can sound natural but focused.

Or write stuff down and make someone else read it, like a hot girl ;)

As usual, awesome show. Cad Bane is sooo awesome. I'd make him my avatar, but Cade is so much more awesomer. I really feel bad about Karen Traviss. Wish her the best. Keep up the good work guys!!

So it's well documented and all-- that I love you boys.

That being the case, is it too much to ask for more frequency in the schedule? Apparently Joel is hard to nail down, and Ed is in Japan, but shit. I may be suffering from good-old-days-syndrome, but there's just too much Star Wars out there not to hear from y'all on a more regular basis. Or, more to the point, there are too few people who actually "get it" and actually talk about it and I'm spoiled rotten and want my titillating SW discussion and I want it yesterday.

Am I a jerk? Maybe.

Am I right? from this fan's perspective: absolutely.
