I sold every single Sideshow figure to pay medical bills and now I see this picture of Vader in hand!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I really need this figure but I just can't afford it or get approval from the budget nazi in my house. Sweet fricking figure!!!! Perhaps I could sell my Nightmare on Elm Street Sideshow figs to get the money for a Vader.
On a side note-How is the stormtrooper? Which is the better version-Medicom Rah or Sideshow?

There is no contest man, SideShow is the clear winner. The Medicom is nice if you like the Return of the Jedi look or the Special Editions but for the quintessential ANH trooper you gotta go with SideShow hands down.

Budget Nazi! LOLZ

Yeah, that trooper is awesome and to scale with the other SSC figures. Medicoms are like 11 inches. My pics of him on Flickr get mistaken for costumes all the time :)

Like Joel always says, the secondary market can be really forgiving if you know where to look, and look often. ebay, shows, and forums can bear sweet imperial fruit.

Yeah I had the opportunity to buy two Medicom Stormtroopers for 80 a pop and I still passed them up. Tiny and the ROTJ look is a deal breaker for me.

I have the 501st Medicom I bought cheap off of Travor Grove, and surprisingly, he's 12 inches!

All my other Medicoms are a bit shorter....

YOULUCKYSONOFABITCH!! How do you know Trevor? He is a god among 1/6th scale portraits! If only SSC's paint QA was up to par with the sculpts. Also Cobra Trooper is incoming and so is Piett.

I always say that people shouldn't be assholes since the entertainment industry is SO small.

Turns out I had talked to Trevor online for months before I discovered I own like ten of his head sculpts...

And yeah...sometimes the paint really kills the sculpt....usually not a dealbreaker, but you know....it loses something

Yeah from the Matrix? I saw it in person at SDCC and it's pretty slick and shouldn't be too expensive for being 1/16th scale. Hot Toys is PWNING my wallet as of late.

So I picked up my Admiral Piett today along with my Hot Toys Don Corleone, and Terminator Salvation (I know) T-600. All of them are awesome so far and I am really digging Piett's cloth hat which I wasn't sure of. I'll post pics after some water treatment.

Does that mean after you piss yourself with excitement?

J/K! Hey, do a shot of him with some under lighting. Give him that Star Destroyer Bridge feel. 8)
