I cried and cried and cried that I did not take advantage when I was 16, working and had some money.

Hahah, I have pictures of me and my cousin taken that very day, "Santa" had assembled our Death Star playsets, it was fucking awesome!

Little 4 year old me in my jammies with 70's chili bowl haircut grinning from ear to ear.

This was great. I love when the one kid picks up the Death Star and almost falls over from the weight!
Yeah, Jamie, I think about going back all the time. I have a vivid memory, and sometimes it's almost like time travel.

We're pretty much the same age. A lot of people our age I know are like that. The late 70's and early 80's were a golden-era for childhood. The age of Lucas-Speilberg-Henson and toys, toys, toys!

Please make a new VOR episode! Please talk about the good old days (and the new Clone Wars Days)! But seriously... a VOR episode dealing with Kenner 1977-1985....

Not to blow smoke up the ass of your childhood, but I do see those years on my list of show topics :)

Hey man... just as long as there is a list... that means more VOR!
There's an imbalance in the Podcast Force... a hole only pluggable by VOR (a bit of Mazola will help the fit).

Here is something I found I craigslist if any of you are interested.

Star Wars Toys and More Collection Up For Sale - $35000 (Naperville Area)

Massive Star Wars Toys, Figures, Playsets, Games, Videos, DVD's, CD's, books, comic books, plus a whole lot more, is up for auction.
It has taken me over 25 years of collecting to amass the huge collection. I have almost everything from
1977 Vintage to 2006 Ep III. The collection is worth well over $120,000 and the book value exceeds this by about 30%. I’ve put countless hours of work into this collection.
I’m catering this collection to the Super Collector who like Steven Sansweet, Rob Rintoul or Marc Patten, or to the Super Star Wars toy store owners like " Brians Toys", or "Cloud City Collectables" and other large buyers. There may also be that one individual who wants to buy this collection to make it his/her own or open their own Star Wars toy store.
I’ve spent too much time and money on this massive collection to simply give it away. You know what the collection is worth, and sale will begin at a mere $35,000 or better offer. That is less than half of what I’ve put into this collection, and still less than a 1/3rd of what its value is.
I have this entire collection available on an Excel spreadsheet format with quantities and prices. So if you'd like me to email you the files simply write to me and ask.

A collection this massive cannot be shipped. You will need to make arrangements to have this collection picked up by movers, or another transportation contractor.
As no shipping is involved, I will do my best to assist you with finding a local motel and car rental if you decide to come and inventory and or assist with packing and shipping of your new collection. 60% of the collection is already boxed in original Hasbro cases, however 100's more boxes will be needed to pack and ship the rest of this collection.
A 30% deposit will be paid within 5 busn. days. Otherwise a certified money order or bank check will expected. And after completion of the sale, rest of the monies will be paid before release.

As an added bonus, I’m also including my 4" & 12 " GI Joe collection. It’s valued at over $3500. An additional bonus of my other toy collections, Star Trek weapons and accessories, Power Rangers, Beanie Babies, and other misc. collectables will be included as well.

If you want specific pix, this may be a little difficult as 50% of my collection is in a climatized storage room of 10X10X5, stacked floor to ceiling, and most items are not accessible. I do recommend that if you win the bid that you come and inventory the collection, and see it for yourself. Again I'll do my best to locate a facility large enough to spread out this collection so an accurate account of all can be made. No buy backs, no refunds, items are sold as is. Also I will not part out this collection so please don’t waste time or emails asking to buy specific items. This collection will only be sold as a whole.
